A Lucky Fall Wedding in Kansas City

April 2, 2024

Lauryn and Mason’s classic-styled, fall wedding aesthetic leaned on UNION’s natural brick and industrial ambiance to tie in their neutral decor and fall jewel tones.

When they toured UNION, the couple was set on having their wedding on November 11th. “Marrying my best friend is my one wish,” Lauryn said. Fast forward to 11/11, and she got her wish! The couple was surrounded by 200 of their favorite people for the party of the year, on the luckiest day of the year.

The girls got ready in UNION’s client room, while the boys spent time down in the Speakeasy. Lauryn and her bridesmaids did a first look on the rooftop, and followed by a first look with other friends and family members.

Lauryn’s vision of timeless, soft whites was perfectly captured by Good Samaritan Floral. The couple walked down a candlelit aisle, and were wed in front of a wooden backdrop adorned with greenery and white flowers.

Lauryn carried the perfect white floral wedding bouquet, which was beautifully juxtaposed by Mason’s maroon suite, and Lauryn’s bridesmaids’ dresses! The colors added a playful element to the overall aesthetic and were a perfect fit for the season.

Lauryn’s younger brother Morgan officiated their ceremony, creating a meaningful and intimate setting for the couple. Needless to say, happy tears were coming from everyone, including Morgan!

Tuscono’s is one of the couple’s favorite date night spots, so it was a no-brainer that they would cater the reception. After a delicious Italian buffet, guests’ stomachs and hearts were full, and it was time to dance!

The couple personally knew DJ Max James, and were confident in his ability to create an epic dance party! Lauryn and Mason knew their loved ones would pack the dance floor, so once the reception started, guests moved to UNION’s first floor, where Jessica, their planner, had created the ultimate party scene!

Lauryn used this opportunity to surprise everyone with an outfit change and opted for a white jumpsuit to more comfortably dance the night away.

Later in the night, guests were surprised again with a late-night pizza snack!

To wrap up the party, everyone went up to UNION’s rooftop for a skyline-lit bubble send-off. This was the perfect choice for the couple, and ended the night on a fun and flirty note!
