At UNION, we believe in full transparency from day one, so you know exactly what you’re getting when you book our space. Every venue is different, and packages can vary wildly. So let’s break down exactly what’s included when you rent UNION for your big day.
The Basics
Your rental at UNION includes 24 consecutive hours of access (10 a.m. the day of your event until 10 a.m. the following day), giving you ample time for setup, celebration, and cleanup. Most couples use the space from 10 a.m. to midnight, but you have the flexibility to choose your own hours depending on your needs. UNION is an indoor-only venue, making it a dependable choice year-round, no matter what Kansas City weather decides to do. Our three-floor (including the Speakeasy), open-concept layout allows you to transform the space to match your vision—from romantic ceremonies to epic dance parties. Plus, our Client Ready Room is available for event-day-prep!

Tables, Chairs, and Furniture
You don’t have to stress about sourcing furniture—we’ve got the essentials covered: farmhouse tables, black chairs, and cocktail tables. Want to customize your setup even further? You’re welcome to rent additional items or bring in specialty pieces that fit your design style. Whether you want a cozy lounge area or a bold sweetheart table, we’re here to help make it happen.
Staffing & Support
With every rental, you’ll have a dedicated Client Concierge onsite to answer questions, help with venue logistics, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Our team is there to assist with vendor arrivals and troubleshoot any venue-related concerns. Want assistance with day-of coordination or overall planning and design? Check out our 828 Planning services. Cleanup is a breeze—we handle all venue-related cleanup after the event. Your vendors will be responsible for packing up their own items, but you don’t have to lift a finger when it comes to sweeping.
Decor & Amenities
Wondering where to rent a ceremony backdrop or photo booth? UNION comes equipped with a variety of rental decor, from draping to yard games, to customizable lighting.
Add-On Services
Want to take your event to the next level? We offer optional add-ons to make planning even easier. Bar packages are available through UNION Beverage. Planning services include everything from day-of coordination all the way to full planning and design.
