A Stylish Mid-Century Vision
From the very beginning, Bethany and Colby wanted their day to feel like a true party. They leaned into a moody mid-century aesthetic, choosing a bold and elevated color palette of dark green, black, copper, rust, and cream. These tones played perfectly against the deep brick and industrial character of UNION, creating a dramatic and romantic atmosphere.

What truly made the day stand out was the couple’s commitment to DIY and personalization. From hand-painted table numbers, carefully color-matched to their overall palette, to a stunning floral disco ball installation they built themselves; every element was a labor of love.
Their creativity didn’t stop there. Instead of a standard escort card display, they tied vinyl records to fishing line, creating a floating installation to display their table assignments: an idea they had from day one and executed flawlessly.
Personal Touches and Lasting Memories
Bethany and Colby met in college, and their wedding reflected years of love and shared history. One of the most touching details was their guest book: a custom vinyl record featuring all the special songs from their wedding day. The album cover was signed by friends and family, turning it into a beautiful, music-filled keepsake they’ll treasure forever.

“Bethany and Colby were so fun to work with from day one. When I first met with them, they gave off the coolest vibes. And they were the sweetest couple, as well. They had a vision for their day and when I tell you, they had the ultimate DIY execution, I mean it. Their table numbers were hand painted and made with a lot of thought going into the specific color they wanted. Their disco ball floral installment was made and while there might have been trial and error, it was everything and more than what they imagined. To top it all off, Bethany and Colby served up mashed potatoes as their late-night snack; a cozy and crowd-pleasing choice that had everyone raving.
