A Romantic Summer Celebration
On Friday, August 9th, Sara and Adam celebrated their love with an elegant and heartfelt wedding that felt uniquely “them.” The day was filled with thoughtful details, starting with their soft and romantic color palette of pale lilac, ivory, and grey. These hues complemented the space beautifully, creating a timeless atmosphere for the occasion.
But what truly made their décor stand out were the personal touches. Sara and her mom lovingly handcrafted the bouquets and centerpieces, while Adam, a talented carpenter, built a stunning wedding arbor that perfectly framed their ceremony.
A Unique and Meaningful First Look
Instead of a traditional first look, Sara and Adam opted for a heartfelt “first touch” on UNION’s iconic staircase. It was such a sweet moment to witness as they exchanged thoughtful gifts and shared an intimate connection before walking down the aisle.
Sara’s vision for her wedding was simple yet impactful, focusing on the venue’s stunning architecture. The understated tablescapes let the natural beauty of UNION shine, while the market light wall added a romantic glow to the reception, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
A Special Tribute to Family
One of the most touching parts of the day was how Sara honored both her father and stepfather. From a first look with both dads to the father-daughter dance and walking her halfway down the aisle, Sara made sure they each felt deeply valued and appreciated. Watching these moments unfold was so moving and a testament to the love surrounding Sara and Adam.
A Love Story Sparked by Pizza
Sara and Adam’s wedding day was as romantic and fun as their love story. The two met in 2020 while working at the same company. Their connection began unexpectedly when Adam asked Sara about her Valentine’s Day plans. After hearing about her cozy night in with a heart-shaped pizza from Imo’s and a movie, Adam took it upon himself to surprise her with the same pizza that evening. That thoughtful gesture marked the start of their journey together.
When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they had to include Imo’s Pizza as a late-night snack. Even though their big day wasn’t near Valentine’s Day, Imo’s was thrilled to be part of the celebration—a fun nod to how it all began.
